About Us
Think. Reason. Compassion. Resilience. Independance. Question. Experiment. These are just a few of the skills and qualities that children will develop at Bolney Under Fives Group. Since our founding, we’ve focused on supporting all children during all transitions throughout childhood.
All preschool activities are designed inline with The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) to adequately nurture the emotional and intellectual growth of your children. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, young children are free to develop into bright young minds. Reach out to learn more, and enroll with us today!
Making memories is our priority...
We are a preschool and wrap around care provider based in Bolney, West Sussex.
We provide preschool sessions and breakfast and after school clubs term time only.
We also offer holiday clubs at Christmas, Easter and in The Summer Holidays. Our wrap around care is known as Wallabies Wrap Around Care.
We provide care from birth up until 11 years of age.
Bolney Under Fives Group is a registered charity and has a small committee. We rely on fundraising to both help keep our fees as low as possible and to replace worn equipment.
Our main fundraising event is Bolney Bonfire Night, a lovely unticketed family event open to everyone. This is held on the Friday closest to November 5th each year. As well as traditional bonfire and spectacular fireworks there's hot food, a bar, hot drinks, light up toys, sweets and donuts too! We seek sponsorship each year for this event and always welcome new sponsors.
We also raise money by taking part in the summer village fun day and by rescuing food in partnership with Fareshare, Food Drop and Food Share, for which donations can be made.
We hope in 2023 to have a team in The Famous Bolney Pram Race who can be sponsored to run the course in a costume chosen by the children.

Group Mission
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
Services
There are three groups incorporated within Bolney Under Fives – Pre-school for children aged from from birth to 5 years, Wallabies Holiday, Breakfast and After School Clubs for children from one to eleven years and Kookaburras Forest School for all registered children.
Preschool
Preschool is intended to prepare your child to progress to school with confidence. Our preschool is available to children from the age of 6 months to 5 years old.
We are OFSTED registered and therefore use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to guide our teaching and desired learning outcomes.
Each session is run by early years practitioners who are specifically trained with assistants who are training in the care and education of under fives. We also buy in Professionally trained extra curricular coaches at no additional cost to yourself, enabling your child to further access additional skills.

12noon - 3pm
Wallabies Wrap
Around Care
Our Breakfast Club starts at 8am and run until we drop off at school or at 9am for preschoolers. We only drop to Bolney CEP.
Our After School Clubs start when School ends and finish at 5:30pm. We collect from Bolney CEP & Twineham Primary School.
Wallabies holiday care club has now been operating for over 9 years. We operate during the Easter, Summer and Christmas Holidays.
We cater for children between the ages of one & eleven years and our days are themed. We have daily dance lessons, visits from a variety of extra curricular providers (Reptiles, Yoga and Mindfullness are just a few firm favourites).
Children have a ball and can't wait to come back!
Kookoburras Forest School
We believe everybody should have regular, long-term access to a woodland or natural environment which provides them with inspirational and challenging outdoor learning opportunities. Forest School offers a learner centred approach, where participants can learn through self-directed play and exploration. Participants who come to the woods with Kookaburras will be given the opportunity to develop their curiosity, confidence, self-esteem, creativity, empathy, communication skills, knowledge of the natural environment and ability to assess risk.
We currently run 3 forest school sessions per week during term time on a Monday afternoon and Wednesday and Friday mornings.
